Combining tried and tested folding methods with the latest 32 bit microprocessor controls technology, the new Foldmaker 55 series offers enhanced fold accuracy and consistency in the recognizable and established package.
The Foldmaker 55 series has been developed from the huge successful 35 and 45 series, providing a range of compact, versatile high speed folding machines for use behind the modern laundry ironer.
A variety of models is available to meet all production needs, ranging from the simple lane primary folder, through the popular folder and crossfolder combination package to the sophisticated fully automatic multilane folder, crossfodler and stacking system. The extensive menu of options will ensure that even the most specialist application can be catered for.
Orion Compact Folder
Girbau primary and cross folder for large and medium pieces.
For large and medium pieces:
The piece arrives from the ironer and goes to the folder.
Primary folds are carried out by air blasts.
Cross folds are carried by mechanical knives.
For medium of small pieces:
The pieces are primary folded and delivered to the rear table or to a multi-lane cross folder.
FL-LITE
Flat linen folder, designed to work with an ironer, and fold the ironed linen production.
Up to 2 length folds can be made in 1 or 2 equal lanes. The length fold is done by air blow. Optionally this length fold counld have 4 equal lanes and up to 3 folds.
The cross fold is made in 1 only central lane. This fold consists of 3 folds, two of which (the first and the third) are obligatory. The first fold is achieved by means of driving rolls and a mechanical blade, the second one by a clamp ("pick & drop") and the third throught a suspended fold and a mechanical blade between straps.
Stacking function is optionally carried on a motorized drop stacker AP VOL-ECO, which can be simple or double; otherwise the folded piece is dropped on a table.
